We are seeking a highly motivated Meaningful Activities Coordinator with a passion for delivering excellent care. The role will require you to develop, plan and deliver activities for our patients, making a positive difference to their stay on the ward. The post is based at Coalville Community Hospital on Snibston ward which is a specialist stroke unit but also has medical beds which incorporate rehabilitation and palliative care. The ward is one of twelve wards which form the Trusts Inpatient Community Health Services Division. The working hours will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday 08.30 - 16.30.

We work with patients and their families from their admission to the ward through to discharge.You will be working with an experienced therapy team consisting of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Technical Instructors. We are a friendly and caring team working closely with the ward MDT always with the patient at the centre of everything we do whilst also involving families and carers.
