**Job Purpose**:
We are looking for a well organised individual with strong communication skills to assist with the daily operations within the sales office. You will have excellent attention to detail along with the ability to adapt to various situations and requirements within the office.
**Requirements**:
- A highly organised individual.
- Friendly personality and nature.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload with a sense of urgency
- Computer literate - must be familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Working knowledge of Sage extremely advantageous
- Good problem-solving skills.
- A proactive individual - able to work on own initiative without waiting for instructions.
- A versatile individual - happy to take on any task requested of them.
- Capable of working on own as well as part of a team.
- Own vehicle and transport are required due to location of premises.
**Duties**:
- Sorting, collating and processing of daily tickets
- Entering delivery sales information from tickets to Excel
- Preparing customer schedules and invoices
- Collating sales information on to driver’s daily sheet/weekly review
- Collating information for Environmental Returns
- Checking and processing of purchase order invoices, entering on to Sage
- Collating any requested information with regards to previously completed jobs
- Answering all incoming telephone calls
- Taking orders over the telephone
- Placing orders with suppliers
- Record day to day financial transactions on sage
- Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Generate financial statements and reports.
- Processing supplier payments
- Manage office supplies and equipment.
- Preparation and submission of Value Added Tax (VAT) returns.
- Preparing accounts at end of year for accountants’
- Site diary keeping
- Insurance Administration
- Preparing Tacho and compliance reports for Drivers
- Driver Administration - License checks, CPC
- Preparing and completing payroll on a covering basis
- General Filing and Administration housekeeping
- Adhoc duties as assigned
**Salary**: £27,500.00-£32,500.00 per year
