**Position**:Technical Specialist

**Location**:Chertsey, Home Counties South

**Job Type**: Permanent, full time

**Hours**:Monday to Friday, 40 hours

**Salary **£26,000 - £32,000 depending on experience and generous overtime

Individuals working as technical specialists are responsible for analysing and providing solutions to technical drainage issues, providing technical support to other departments and operatives, as well as supervising work process and ensuring health and safety. This role will cover both Home Counties North and South.

**The role**:

- Advising Operatives on all aspects of day to day duties.
- Liaising with Network Engineers and Thames water’s operational team.
- Liaising with Planners and schedulers.
- Pollution tracing.
- Enabling works.
- Auditing and Compliance checks.
- Checking competency off new starters.
