Job Title: Control Systems Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Specialist to join our Technical Services team at Thorpe Park Resort. As a Control Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting control systems, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our rides and attractions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting control systems, including PLC’s, AC/DC drives, and industrial fieldbus networks
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance routines to minimize downtime and maximize guest experience
  • Supporting and mentoring the front-line engineering team in day-to-day reactive maintenance tasks and projects

Requirements:

  • Previous control system experience, preferably with PLC systems and industrial fieldbus networks
  • Strong fault-finding skills in low-voltage control systems, AC and DC motors, and associated control equipment
  • Working knowledge of control system safety regulations, such as EN13489 and EN62061
