**Technical Writer**

Cambridge

£40k - 55k per year + 2% bonus

Permanent

Marlowe’s Software, Risk & Compliance Division is part of Marlowe Plc.

We deliver technology-enabled risk management and compliance solutions, via our market leading Consultancy, Information and Facilities Management businesses; William Martin Compliance, Barbour EHS and Elogbooks.

Note that the legislative content contained within the Barbour and Cedrec platforms is excluded from this role.

**Key Activities**
- Working with development and product teams to understand new and existing developments
- Creation of templates and layouts for documents which this role would not be directly responsible for creating
- Creation of help content, online tutorials, knowledge bases and product documentation
- Creation of new formats for help content (FAQs etc).
- Advising teams on appropriate terminology and helping development teams avoid received wisdom on how items should be referred to
- Creation of glossaries to help teams understand products and functions quicker.

**Key Objectives**
- Significant improvement of content coverage
- Improvement of current content format and delivery mediums
- Simplification of terminology used within the organisation
