**Technical Writer**

A fantastic opportunity for a talented Technical Writer / Author, to join an industry-leading machine-learning software company in Cambridge. The Technical Author / Writer will combine technical understanding and excellent written communication skills, to take ownership of user materials such as User Guides, how-to guides and other supporting materials.

**Location **- Cambridge - Hybrid working 3 days in the office / 2 days remote

**Salary -** £35,000 - £45,000 + fantastic benefits

**Requirements for Technical Writer / Author**:

- Commercial experience within a technical writing role or a Ph.D. where you have enjoyed the writing aspect
- A 2:1 or 1st class degree from a leading university - we’re particularly keen on degrees involving significant writing content - i.e. English, Languages, Translation. This could also suit a STEM Ph.D. Graduate who has particularly enjoyed the writing-up element of their thesis
- Minimum of ABB at A Level (or equivalent UCAS points)
- Excellent written capabilities
- Ability to articulate complex concepts in a concise, yet simple manner
- It would be very beneficial if you have technical literacy or an understanding of software engineering practices
- Enthusiastic with a desire to work in a fast-paced innovative environment

**Responsibilities for Technical Writer / Author**:

- Writing, editing, proof-reading and indexing of technical documentation
- Gain a thorough understanding of the product/project and translate into user-friendly information
- Test content understanding with users
- Create content relevant to end-users
