**Job Overview**:

- To work closely with the Senior People Transformational Change Partner, to deliver a best-in-class service, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Manage and deliver the people transformational aspects for all mobilisation, demobilisation and restructure activities. Ensuring a robust project management plan is implemented providing clear visibility of tasks and ownership to all stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders within the respective project, Trade Union Representatives, People Directors, People BP's, MD & Operations Managers, to ensure 2-way communication is clear and there is a high visibility of all project activity.

**Main Duties**
- Driving continuous improvement on policies and processes, ensuring the team are delivering an industry leading, best in class service.
- To ensure a positive experience for all stakeholders by providing a seamless service and technically sound employment law advice, always
- To actively deliver a best-in-class service within the people function.
- Lead large scale and/or complex mobilisation and demobilisation projects, ensuring that full and robust project plans are in place with clear milestones and review sessions
- Be an instrumental part of large scale and/or complex change programmes including:
- Working with the People BP on the organisational design of the contract/business
- Creation of clear and measurable project plans
- Utilising change management strategies to implement change
- Ensuring the change programme is managed in an ethical and legal manner with any risks being appropriately highlighted
- To ensure all projects are managed in line with the company policies and procedures in a timely and commercially focused way
- To work closely with the Account Director and Senior Leadership team on delivery of BAU items including coaching managers on case management, recruitment, and onboarding challenges, in conjunction with the People Support Centre
- To support the wider team with any pay queries or compliance issues, in conjunction with the People Support Centre
- In conjunction with the HRBP, implement the Mitie People Plan within the contract
- Work closely with managers, and the Company OH provider to ensure a robust approach across the contract to absence management
- In conjunction with the HRBP, identify and implement process improvements across the sites
- Coach and upskill first line and middle managers across the contract on core HR processes and procedures, to ensure ER compliance and mitigate risk and business exposure
- Monitor and review functional training to ensure the site is compliant and areas of concern are addressed and rectified
- Drive key areas of compliance right to work and vetting including BPSS, SC clearance and any other level of clearance required
- To coach and influence stakeholders to ensure that decisions are in line with current legislation while remaining commercially aware
- To proactively keep Employment Law knowledge up to date as legislation changes
- To understand and comply with policies and procedures
- To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner
- To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience of project managing an agile team, across multiple locations is desirable
- Ability to challenge and influence key decision makers with a professional, yet assertive and confident approach
- Demonstrable experience of large scale, complex TUPE transfers
- Experience of managing business acquisitions and business sales
- Experience of complex change management projects including redundancies, changes of terms and conditions and dismissals, ideally gained within commercial environment
- Ability to identify key risks and provide commercially sound resolutions
- Excellent Employment Legislation knowledge
- Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with people from different levels of the organisation and across the different lines of business
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, SharePoint
- Ability to multitask, work to deadlines, prioritise under pressure and use own initiative
- Excellent team player with the ability to build effective team relationships and promote an environment of trust and flexibility
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Resolution and results driven with a flexible and can-do attitude
- Proficiency in SAP HR and payroll system or another recognised People database preferred but not essential
- Employment Law qualification is desirable
