Rolf Berryman are seeking a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant to join the Private Client department of this well-established regional firm. This is a full-time, permanent job with the possibility of some hybrid working available.

**Role Responsibilities**

The incoming Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant will be joining an outstanding Private Client team. You will be a key member of the department, with the responsibility of assisting the fee earners but also being very much involved in the files that you are working on.

You will be responsible for assisting in all areas of the cases but also responsible for:

- Fast and accurate audio and copy typing
- Drafting basic correspondence
- Relaying accurate telephone messages from clients to fee earner (taking action in fee earners absence if appropriate)
- Diary management (including arranging meetings and making travel arrangements when necessary)
- Ensuring fee earners comply with Best Practice, Risk and Compliance and Money Laundering requirements
- Drafting bills and printing billing guides
- Dealing with file opening/closing and archiving
- Dealing with expense claims General office duties such as filing and photocopying

**Person specification**

Applications are sought from Secretaries or legal assistants who has worked in Private Client for a minimum of 2 years.
