**Revenues & Benefits Officer**:

- **Full Time - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, 35 hours per week**:

- ** Temporary role - 3 months with possible extension**:

- **Hybrid working - 1 day per week in office (Ealing, W5)**:

- ** £18.27 per hour PAYE / £24 per hour Umbrella**

**Purpose Of Role**
- To provide a comprehensive and in depth telephone service for council tax and housing benefit / council tax support enquiries
- To ensure that all contacts receive a good customer experience, in a professional timely and courteous manner at all times
- To explain both housing benefit / council tax support entitlement to the customer to enable them to agree the appropriate council tax payment arrangement
- To accurately update / amend accountabilities with regard to agreed procedures
- To facilitate and promote the use of online services to Ealing residents i.e Myaccount

**Essential Experience, Knowledge, Skills And Abilities**
- Experience, understanding and knowledge of council tax and/or benefits service
- Demonstrates excellent customer care skills by seeking to understand the needs of customers and building rapport
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to maintain, update and interrogate computerised records, quickly and accurately
- Proven experience of a customer services environment
- Experience of the use of ICT solutions
