**Job Description**:
The main purpose of the role is to be part of the Funds & Operations Team which is responsible for the smooth running of the firm’s AIFM and Investment Management platform. The core responsibilities will include the production of materials for the launch of new AIFs, including Product Governance, Authorisation and Operation Manuals. For AIFs on the firm’s AIFM platform, the responsibilities will include the production of AIF Board Reports and assisting with Audits.

This will involve working closely with the rest of the team, as well as attending client calls and meetings.

The role will include:

- Managing key fund launch tasks in relation to new funds coming under management
- Developing relationships with the portfolio of clients and meeting their needs; escalating issues and resolving them
- Liaising with the Fund & Operations team and Compliance team to make sure we are meeting client needs on time
- Liaising with the business development function to respond to any relevant queries, or status update requests
- Collaborating with colleagues across the wider IQ-EQ group where AIF mandates have relationships with other parts of the group
- Contributing to meeting team objectives and identifying and implementing process improvements
- Enhancing own understanding of regulatory landscape and taking learning opportunities that are offered
- Taking responsibility for own progression including learning and development objectives
- Following the set policies and procedures around managing conduct risk

Adhering to all company and IQ-EQ Group policies and procedures

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years’ experience working within fund management, fund administration or fund depositary.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, law or related field, or relevant professional industry qualifications.
- Experience within the investment fund industry, with a knowledge of AIFMD including policies and processes for alternative investment funds, and wealth management policies and processes.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
