**Location**: Salford Quays, Manchester

**Contract**: 6 month fixed-term (with the view to go permanent in the Finance team)

**Hybrid working**: 2 days a week in the office

**Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate customer credit profiles, considering factors such as payment history, credit limits, and industry standards.
- Make informed decisions regarding credit approvals and limits.
- Collaborate with clients to establish favourable payment terms.
- Proactively communicate with customers to resolve payment issues and prevent overdue accounts.
- Escalate collection efforts when necessary, while maintaining a professional and respectful approach.
- Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
- Update customer accounts, payment schedules, and communication logs.
- Regularly liaise with clients, customers, and internal teams.
- Provide timely updates on payment statuses and resolve any queries.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Self-motivated and an ability to work on own initiative.
- Accounting and Finance Graduate
- An ability to work to deadlines and targets.
- An ability to communicate comfortably with people at all levels.
- Proven interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of working with people and in teams.
- An ability to demonstrate customer led thinking.
