About the Company:
Our client, established in 2003, are global specialists in the design, manufacturer and distribution of fully certified Hazardous Area Electrical Equipment. They offer a range of products including flameproof enclosures, bespoke systems, lighting and associatedequipment for harzardous environments and much more.
They have more than 20 years of experience with providing onshore and offshore sites with the highest level of technical competence and expertise This is achieved through a thorough understanding of product installations, standards and working practices. Dueto close relationships with key manufacturers and their extensive stocks of parts, they are able to turn around projects much faster than their competitors
Additionally, with their own in house design team, they provide a full consultancy service to help their customers with appropriate electrical and engineering designs to meet their budget and timescale.
The Role:
Based in Hersham, Surrey an Office Manager, you will be report to the Managing Director and Operations Manager and be responsible for the daily running of the office.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Schedule meetings and appointments
- Partner with HR to update and maintain office policies as necessary
- Plan in house or off-site activities such as parties, celebrations and conferences
- General administrative duties including filing, auditing notes and general house-keeping
- Greeting visitors to the office
- Manage order overview (i.e. new projects-related administration, purchasing of correct materials, creation of final documentation, arranging of couriers, etc)
- Production monitoring (i.e. up-keep of job/PO/vendors registers, monitoring timescales, liaising with clients)
- Advise customers when goods are ready for despatch
- Liaise with Workshop Supervisor for the delivery/collection of goods and liaise with office administrator to book courier
- Monitor orders and coordinate with purchasing to ensure any outstanding arrive on time

About You:

- Ability to understand production requirements, monitor daily production progress and identify and correct deficiencies
- Confidence to deal with staff, suppliers and clients at all levels
- Great communication skills
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles (i.e. purchasing, invoicing)
- General IT literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- General admin housekeeping skills
- A team player who is dependable and efficient
- ERP management experience would be advantageous
