Executive Assistant - To the Food & Beverage Director

The Executive Assistant to F&B Director is responsible for assisting the Director of F&B with the administration and smooth running of the F&B division. Primarily responsible for organizing work and follow up / tracing pending projects. In the absence of the F&B Director, the Executive Assistant to F&B Director will report to the Assistant F&B Directors.

The Quality Improvement aspect of this position will report directly to the Food and Beverage Director and together, they will create and encourage an environment of “continuous improvement.” This position will champion all Quality Improvement Initiatives - communicate, implement and ensure understanding of the importance and value of utilizing quality tools in continuously improving our Key Strategies to Achieve Excellence. The F&B Executive Assistant partners with and supports all hotel leaders in meeting and/or exceeding their goals relating to Performance Monitor and Performance Research.

Shangri-La The Shard, London is the first elevated luxury hotel in the city. It offers 202 guestrooms and suites - located throughout levels 34 & 52 of The Shard, Western Europe’s tallest building. With unparalleled views across London, the hotel features a number of signature dining venues & three river-facing event spaces. Level 52 is home to 24-hour gym, Western Europe’s highest infinity pool & bar. Located in London's most historic area, the hotel is nearby the financial hubs of the City and Canary Wharf as well as key tourist attractions such as Tate Modern, the Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Shakespeare's Globe and Borough Market.
