Bradley Big Local is embarking on an exciting development phase at Hodge House Community Centre. We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Centre Coordinator to play a supporting role in shaping the heart of our community. This Coordinator will be a friendly face, creating a welcoming and vibrant space for hirers, visitors, and local residents.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Centre Coordinator to link our community with Bradley Big Local Community Land Trust (BBL CLT). As the Coordinator, you will be a friendly face managing inquiries, bookings, and vibrant events at Hodge House. You’ll have the opportunity to make this role your own with projects like coffee mornings and community events while driving marketing through social media and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a friendly and welcoming face at Hodge House Community Centre, handling inquiries.
- Be the primary key holder for the centre.
- Undertake promotional activities to increase awareness and use of the centre.
- Champion prompt responses to inquiries via various platforms regarding room hire.
- Maintain detailed records of booking requests, costs, and terms.
- Maintain accurate information about available facilities and update regularly.
- Generate and manage invoices for room hire, monitoring payments.
- Advertise events and activities through social media and the website.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety, health and safety regulations, and emergency procedures.
- Have experience working in the community or with a diverse range of individuals.
- Possess strong organisational skills in handling inquiries and bookings and communicating with individuals and organisations.
- Bring strong customer service experience from a face-to-face setting.
- Have experience promoting activities utilising both online platforms and traditional methods.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when required
