At MHM we help people achieve good mental and physical wellbeing and live life to the full. NHS Northumberland Talking Matters is a partnership between Mental Health Matters and Sunderland Counselling Service; two local and national providers of psychological therapies with a strong track record of success. About the role We are seeking a qualified and motivated High Intensity Psychological Therapist to join our team. The post holders will provide high intensity interventions - predominantly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

They will work with clients who have a range of complex Anxiety and Depression related problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. We have 4 clinical CPD events planned for 2023/24. You will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary, and should be committed to equal opportunities. About you You will hold a Clinical Qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; typically the Post-Graduate Diploma in CBT or in High Intensity Psychological Therapies.

You will go through our comprehensive training program in your first few weeks with MHM, which will give you the tools you need to succeed in the role, as well as offering a great opportunity to get to know your new colleagues. MHM offers 27 days annual leave per annum (increasing up to 33), plus statutory holidays and a 5% contributory pension scheme (matched up to 6%).
