Due to the award of new long-term programmes, a leading manufacturer of innovative products to the automotive and aerospace sectors has a new vacancy for a Lean Practitioner to join the business. An expert in lean methodologies, ideally with experience inan electrical or electronic manufacturing environment, you will identify and implement process improvement across the business.

**Commutable from: Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Redditch, Solihull, Warwick, Castle Bromwich, Leamington Spa,**

**Salary:£55,000- £70,000 + excellent benefits**

**Suitable for: Lean Engineer, Lean Practitioner, CI Specialist, Continuous Improvement Engineer, CI Manager, Lean Specialist, Black Belt, Six Sigma Specialist, Process Improvement Specialist.**

**The Role**:
Support the business in improving and sustaining operational efficiency using lean techniques

Complete process and value stream mapping to identify inefficiencies in productivity

Clarify, analyse, and quantify the areas for improvement to streamline existing processes across the various business units.

Communicate progress at all levels within the business and educate in lean methodologies

Implement a suitable Product Data Management (PDM) platform to manage and design data

Implement a suitable Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to manage all product data

Lead the strategy of developing or removing existing process tools and procedures to meet the long-term objectives.

An expert in lean methodologies with a Black Belt or equivalent qualification.

Project Management tools & techniques.

Able to demonstrate knowledge of managing change in a challenging environment.

Process orientated, with a track record of implementing process improvements and controls within a supply chain environment.

Proven leadership of initiating, driving, and supporting positive change.

Experience of working closely with clients and developing effective working relationships.

Flexible in terms of travelling to other sites when needed
