Our Sourcing Team provides support for regional and global projects in our Flexible Pipe Systems business. We engage and collaborate with regional and global sourcing and procurement teams.

Leading procurement team contribution to all international clients bid submissions. Working closely with Site Sourcing team and commercial team bid co-ordinators to ensure the timely and accurate provision of pricing and sourcing strategies to maximize top line growth and margin expansion opportunities.

As Lead Procurement Specialist - Tender & Bid, you will be responsible for:

- Ensuring functional representation in Deal Reviews, Risk reviews and Bid Kick off Meetings.
- Liaising with Bid co-ordinators, site sourcing team and other functional stakeholders to ensure all bought out requirements are identified, priced and suitably included in bid submission.
- Being accountable for the accuracy of Cost Handbook and associated tools to support accurate bids including forecast inflation / deflation aligned to bid validity.
- Leading the co-ordination of technical, commercial, and contractual supply requirements with sourcing/ commercial teams including issuing and evaluating RFQs as required.
- Being involved in Early engagement with functional leads to identify commercial and supply risks (with mitigation), and opportunities (to be realized) in the bid submission and/or project execution.
- Identifying potential cost out opportunities for OTR phase of project, and ensure actions cascaded with owners and timelines to execute.
- Working closely with specialist and commodity Buyers to identify and exploit 3rd party value levers for maximum bid success. e.g. cost, lead time, product innovation.
- Embedding Procurement best practice and discipline into the ITO Procurement activities.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or Supply Chain
- Have proven experience working in a Procurement or Commercial role, ideally within an engineering or manufacturing setting
- Be able to lead multiple initiatives of moderate scope and impact with pace and attention to detail.
- Be MCIPS (or equivalent) certified or demonstrably working towards.
- Have effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence others.
