Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our Surgery, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and creating a positive impression for our patients and visitors.

**Duties**:

- Greet and welcome Patients/visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when necessary
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Essential Criteria:

- Education - GCSEs including Maths and English (Grade C or above)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate office equipment such as printers, scanners, and copiers
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role
