Tradewind Recruitment is working with a fantastic Primary School in Cambridge, who are seeking to a highly professional, competent, confident, well-organised School Administrator to join their team in September. This is a large, inclusive school who pride themselves on promoting the best possible outcomes for all pupils.

The ideal School Administrator will need to be conscientious and accurate with a good telephone manner, welcoming nature, a good sense of humour and demonstrate initiative and discretion. You should have knowledge and experience of all main Microsoft office packages. Experience of the school systems, sims.net would be an advantage, although full training can be given on this. Experience in marketing and communication is highly advantageous, and previous office experience and/or in a public-facing role is essential.

As a School Administrator, you will take on receptionist duties and manage student admissions and departures, ensuring accurate records and facilitating enrolment processes. Additionally, you will oversee marketing and communication efforts, utilising school systems and managing the website to effectively convey information. Supporting the entire staff, you will perform general secretarial duties, including correspondence and schedule management.

**The requirements for this role are**:

- Proven experience working as a School Administrator
- Excellent organizational abilities with strong attention to detail to ensure smooth operations and efficient record-keeping.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office, and familiarity with school management systems to handle administrative tasks effectively
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality and adhere to data protection guidelines
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to varying situations
- A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving, demonstrating initiative and adaptability
