HR Systems Administrator - 12 month FTC

**About Our Client**:
A well known Education and Training institute

The key responsibilities for the HR Systems Administrator role are:

- The post holder will prepare hardware and software to receive any new iTrent installation. The post holder will validate pre-requisite software availability and release levels. This will involve installation configuration options and location and specification of hardware to support iTrent users.
- The post holder will make iTrent documentation available to users as required.
- The post holder will support the upgrade of iTrent, the post holder will need to understand what has been changed in iTrent and how it might affect users. The post holder will inform the various iTrent users, both as individuals and as groups, of any changes that are relevant to them, and determining any actions that may be required as a result of these. The post holder will Backup iTrent data before an upgrade. The post holder will work with all parties to complete the Installation of the upgrade and ensure testing of new features and confirming that existing functionality has been retained.
- Contribute to the Learner experience throughout the institute.
- Promote the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR Department.
- Attend meetings and conferences as required from time to time at the institute and elsewhere and undertake appropriate staff development.
- Participate in staff development activities, staff conferences and the institute appraisal system.
- Assist with staff development particularly as related to the duties of this post.
- Participate in Open Evenings, Parent/Student Consultation Evenings and other institute events as required.
- Work closely with colleagues to promote a corporate approach to the organisation and management of the institute.
- Use Information Technology where appropriate and demonstrate a commitment to developing own IT skills.
- Promote a positive image of the institute in the local community.
- Assist with the promotion, supervision, management and administration of such institute activities as may be required from time to time.
- To carry out any other duties commensurate with the general level and scope of the post as may be required by your line manager.
- To promote equality & diversity, safeguarding and prevent within the College.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Good understanding of HR or Payroll policy, process, and experience of working with iTrent
- Experience of working with CIPHR
- Experience of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, establishing and maintaining positive working relationships and removing unnecessary barriers to service delivery
- Ability to work in a pressurised environment dealing with a range of tasks simultaneously
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Ability to prepare and write reports to support the HR team with strategic priorities and for other stakeholders
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
