You will be responsible for the comfort and safety of patients transferring them to and from hospitals and other settings. A full driving licence and enhanced DBS check are necessary and a first aid at work certificate as a minimum is required.

Patient Care is at the forefront of everything we do and a genuine interest in caring for people and showing empathy is essential.

The role will involve contact with covid suspected/positive patients and appropriate PPE is provided at all times.

The role requires flexible working hours including some weekends.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

Committed to patient care

Experience in a care environment highly preferable

Careful and Considerate Driver

Be physically fit as you will be required to move patients

Have strong communication skills with a polite and friendly manner

First aid at work certificate as a minimum highly preferable

This role does involve contact with covid suspected and covid positive patients. Risk assessments and guidance are in place and full PPE is provided
