**SALES ADMINISTRATOR**
**MOTHERWELL**
**ONGOING TEMPORARY CONTRACT**
**Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm (1 hour lunch)**
**£11.60 per hour**
**START DATE** - _You must be available for work from the 2nd week in April._
Large, well established company specialising in memorial head stones require a Temp Sales Administrator.
The role requires a mature, diplomatic and empathetic approach as you are of course dealing with customers who are dealing with bereavement.
**DUTIES**
Customers can be seen by appointment or are also very welcome to drop in with out an appointment.
You will initially talk through the customers needs, offering them all of the options of a large stock of memorial headstones.
Taking time to guide the customers with a gentle and supportive approach.
Talking the customers through what detail/information and wording they would like to consider for the headstone and working with the customers budget to give the best service possible.
The customer will then be assigned an account, which the sales administrator will set up on Excel and also on the companies data entry system "Task".
The process goes through several different channels from approval from local council, to ordering material and paint etc, to instruction to the outsourced manufacturer of the stonework.
All admin processes must be VERY CAREFULLY keyed in and everything must be cross referenced - any errors in wording, spelling, dates etc would of course cause potential distress to the customer.
**ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
You must be an experienced Administrator with very strong/accurate data entry skills.
Used to dealing with customers either in a business capacity or with members of the public.
A mature, level headed person that can deal with the potential situation of a customer who is upset/emotional is ESSENTIAL. You will be expected to handle situations carefully and with kindness, whilst remaining calm and in control and still offering a professional and supportive service.

Pay: £11.60 per hour
Expected hours: 28 per week
