**QUALITY & TECHNICAL ASSISTANT**

The post holder will also be responsible for monitoring the factory Quality & Food Safety Systems and for determining that quality, safety and legality are met at each stage of the process by liaising effectively with all relevant parties in a policing capacity. Also, to assist the sites Quality & Technical Manager in maintaining sites certification.

As Quality & Technical Assistant you will be a key member of the site Quality & Technical team who are responsible for driving forward best in class quality and technical performance.

Within quality assurance the post will involve developing and maintaining quality systems, product specifications & processing procedures, internal auditing / training, external liaison with accreditation bodies and associated parties and direct customer contact and support.

Applicants should ideally be food science / applied science graduates with previous experience in a food quality environment. Post holders must be IT literate and have a high attention to detail with proven time management, organisational skills and proactive ability.
