This is a **PRU Teaching Assistant**role in the Manchester area starting ASAP on a full time & long term basis at a secondary PRU. Pay up to £85/day.
- PRU Teaching Assistant at secondary PRU in the Manchester area.
- Starting in ASAP on a full time basis.
- Could turn permanent for the right person.
- Hours are 8:45am - 3:45pm.
- Pay up to £85/day.
- The role will require you to provide whole class support as well as 1:1 at times.
- As a PRU Teaching Assistant you will assist the class teacher in delivering learning but also provide behaviour management and pastoral support.
- Pupils will need lots of motivation, encouragement & positive reinforcement.
- You will need to be hard working, collaborative, adaptable, resilient, patient and able to persevere in order to help you pupils make progress academically, socially, emotionally & physically while also promoting other aspects of personal development.
- The PRU caters for young people in KS3 & 4, aged 11-6.
- All pupils have Social, Emotional or Mental Health needs, SEMH.
- Rated Good by Ofsted.
Access to ongoing CPD.
- Easily accessible by train, bus, tram or car.

To join us and be successful in this **PRUTeaching Assistant** role, you will need to:

- Some experience supporting children or young adults with SEMH or challenging behaviours.
- Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
