Nursery Room Leader

**Duties**:

- Supervise and lead a team of nursery staff members
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in the nursery
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, behavior, and progress
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide regular updates on their child's development
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and nurturing environment for children
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Conduct regular assessments to track children's progress and identify areas for improvement
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized nursery environment

**Skills**:

- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate activities for children
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hatch End, HA5 4PH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Level 3 in childcare (required)
