Ametros FM is the UK’s leading provider of turn-around services for Student Accommodation and Universities, preparing first class standards of accommodation for new students starting every September. In the height of the summer season, we will have 500+ operatives in locations across the UK and Europe and we are opening our doors to find a new member of our staff to join our team for a minimum fixed contract period of 6 months (with a potential to go permanent) starting in April/May 2023.

Reporting to the Senior Operations Management Team and working cooperatively within our group of Head Office specialists, this will be a hands-on role where you will need to be comfortable with hands on work as well as being confident in using our software provision for the purpose of ordering/tracking and reporting. You will be tasked with creating an inventory and managing stock requirements in Manchester and across several regions in the UK and Ireland. You will also be responsible for the co-ordination of efficient deliveries and collections against stock needs whilst ensuring stock levels at all regional locations remain accurate.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

- Reorganisation of our yard (storage area), and continued responsibility for keeping the area clear, safe, and tidy.
- Organising accurate stock and inventory counts, as well as helping manage stock levels across multiple locations
- Tracking shipments and co-ordinating internal stock transfers, as well as resolving delays and address any stock queries.
- Reviewing inventory to determine the need for stock replenishment.
- Ensuring that all equipment has been tested, serviced, and restocked where required. All assets to be labelled and numbered for easy tracking
- Coordinating deliveries of “base camps” across the UK and Ireland, and occasionally the movement of personnel.

You need to be able to demonstrate:

- Experience in stock control, warehouse operations or a logistics planning role.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage changing priorities
- An ability to work autonomously
- A hands-on approach and a desire to implement best working practices

**Salary**: £24,000 P/A (pro rata)

Minimum fixed contract term: 8 Months

Business working hours: 9:00am-5:30pm Monday to Friday, however we can offer flexitime in this role. We may also require you to be flexible during our peak operational times.
