In this role, you will focus on engaging children and youth through sports, mainly football, offering them positive opportunities that target education, employment, training, and anti-youth crime programs and mentoring.

You will be responsible for spearheading an exciting new youth engagement project centred around the organisation’s football facilities. Collaborating with the Development Manager, you will manage and oversee various youth-related initiatives based at the Lisson Green football pitch and other Westminster locations and Southall in Ealing.

- Hold at least Level 1 football coaching qualification (preferably Level 2) with a minimum of 3 years of experience leading, designing, and delivering community youth and football/sports programs
- Demonstrate experience working with diverse age groups, particularly from disadvantaged and vulnerable backgrounds in inner-city housing estates
- Displays excellent communication skills and the ability to address queries and concerns from young people and parents with tact and sensitivity
- Exhibit proficiency in planning and delivering community and youth sporting events
- Can set targets, design plans, and deliver outcomes within specified milestones
- Possesses knowledge of Safeguarding, Health and Safety, and compliance related to sports, leisure, health, and youth engagement
- Be familiar with project and football administration tools and is comfortable using various apps and systems

**What will your role look like?**
- Coordinate, deliver, and promote relevant activities, classes, and events in targeted communities such as Lisson Green Estate, Churchill Gardens, and the Sports Complex in Southall, working collaboratively as a part of the team.
- Manage the Lisson Green Sports, Churchill Gardens, and Sports Complex activities, particularly focusing on football and sports engagement within the designated community
- Recruit, train, support, develop, and oversee coaches and volunteer staff
- Conduct safety and risk assessments of venues to ensure the well-being of participants during activities
- Handle administrative tasks
- Maintain coaching quality by recruiting and managing qualified coaches
- Evaluate and monitor project activities
- Attend local and borough-wide meetings, forums, and networks to represent the organisation
- Engage with schools and community settings to attract young participants to the projects, including workshops focusing on anti-youth crime, employment, and education
- Develop strategies to involve targeted groups in youth-related projects, collaborating on planning, implementation, and monitoring, aligning with set KPIs and reporting requirements for funders and the organisation
- Establish partnerships with organisations focused on health, education, criminal justice, and football development, overseeing football team setup and administration
- Manage project aims, outcomes, targets, and delivery plans, adhering to set deadlines and monitoring requirements
- Support the organisation in broader activities and events, including awards, tournaments, and social campaigns involving young people
- Commitment to attending additional training related to Safeguarding, Health and Safety, and other relevant areas is expected
