Five Star Catering is a family owned multi site, hospitality and catering operation. Proud of how we have gone from strength to strength, we are growing at a rapid speed We are looking for an Events Administrator for one of our newest venues in Essex/Hertfordshire
**Events Administrator**
Supporting the Venue manager with logístical and administrative support. Maintaining records of all bookings e.g. venue and catering and taking payments where necessary. Assisting with creative decisions. Attending all meetings to act as a second point of contact.
You will support the team in the run up and on the day of the event, anything from organising a welcome desk, welcoming guests, checking on supplies etc
**Required**:
- **Previous administration experience within a similar hospitality environment.**:
- **Strong diary-management and administrative skills.**:
- **Well organized with a proven ability to prioritize effectively.**:
- **Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail.**:
- **Excellent Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.**:
- **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent telephone manner.**:
- **Must be extremely flexible with a positive, hands-on and proactive approach to work.**
A flexible and proactive attitude is essential along with good customer service experience and good communication skills. Experience in a front of house retail or hospitality role is advantageous however barista and bar training will be given.
The role is an hourly rate role and Shifts are offered on an as and when needed basis. We have a very busy event programme planned over the forthcoming months and there will be plenty of work available across all.
**Job Types**: Permanent, Zero hours contract
**Salary**: £16,799.13-£20,000.00 per year
