**About the role and our team**

Join our team as an Information Governance Officer within the Corporate Services Division

Within this role, you will support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and the Department in developing and implementing our information governance and records management policies, working with managers and colleagues across the Department of Health and Social Care. This will include being the primary contact for Freedom of Information Act 2015 (FOIA) requests and Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR).

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, with excellent customer service skills to be part of our small, supportive and friendly team, shaping our processes and developing our service.

Please note a basic police check is required for this post,** **which the Department of Health and Social Care will cover the cost of for you. Please note if you have lived for more than 6 months outside of the UK in the last 5 years, you will be required to obtain a Letter of Good Standing from the appropriate authorities in the relevant locations, please read the guidance about how to obtain this letter.

A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
