Right-Trak Ltd is an organisation which formed in 2006 to provide services for Children and Young People with emotional and/or behavior difficulties.
We have two children’s homes just outside Newcastle City Centre and one within Northumberland. We are currently recruiting a Senior Residential Childcare worker in our Ashington Children's Home.
All of our homes care for children/young people and offer a therapeutic environment with a clinical overview.
Our philosophy at Right-Trak is to place the needs of the young people at the heart of our service by promoting and providing care that respects young people’s choice, rights, privacy and dignity.
We currently have a position for experienced, qualified, committed, energetic & enthusiastic Senior. You will be working as part of a team of Residential Childcare Workers so good communication, flexibility and teamwork is essential.
We require someone with diverse skills who can empathise with children with complex needs and manage a range of challenging behaviors.
- _**You will have at least 2 years childcare experience of working with children and young people. Preferably within residential childcare or a similar role.**_
- _**Qualifications in Childcare NVQ level 3 Children & Young people, Health and Social Care or equivalent required as a minimum along with a proven track record towards continued professional development.**_
**You must be willing to work on a shift rota system which involves daytime, evening and night work.**
We offer a competitive salary package including:
- Good rates of pay, sleep in allowance and on call payment;* Mileage allowance;* Full training induction, regular ongoing training, supervision and support.
