Job overview

Solely responsible for delivering a highly comprehensive, confidential and expert administrative and secretarial support service to the Paediatric Perioperative Theatre team.

Responsible for providing a responsive and efficient support service, including
administrative support to the Perioperative Theatres Team whilst maintaining
confidentiality at all times, being the central point of contact for the Perioperative Theatre Team.
The post holder is responsible for updating, maintaining and developing
electronic confidential filing systems, to co-ordinate and input electronic diaries for all regular and ad hoc meetings
To be responsible for the arrangement, coordination of attendance and
communication of meetings. Take minutes of meetings as required, liaising with relevant personnel to chase any action points where necessary.

Main duties of the job

To validate, code and raise all invoices and I-Proc orders for the Perioperative Theatre Team and other directorate personnel where required.

To maintain accurate annual leave records.

To assist with Service Improvement Plans/Unit Leadership Team/PFIS meetings in conjunction with Perioperative Theatre Team involving analysis, interpretation and assessments, using own initiative and judgement to organise and manage.

Establishment and continuous improvement of office information systems and procedures to ensure an efficient and effective service.

To prioritise own workload according to the demands of the service to maximise effectiveness.
