**“Our people are what makes us who we are as a company”**

Align Property Partners provides a huge range of “one stop shop” design, consultancy and engineering solutions to a wide range of clients right across the public and private sector. We now have an exciting opportunity for an Associate / Technical Director to join our multi discipline workforce in Cumbria, engaging with new and existing clients, securing business and inspiring future partnerships to continue building on our current success as one of the largest multi-disciplinary organisations in the north of England.

Using your established networks and client relationships you will build on our competitive position to continue our current development and planned future growth. Your collaborative approach when working with clients allows you to understand their requirements and translate these into innovative design solutions. Clients are inspired to work with you and see you as their trusted partner. Working with the Managing Director, you will be able to see client’s vision become reality, whilst having a positive impact on construction in Cumbria.

Our current client base is across different sectors within Cumbria and Lancashire, including industrial, commercial and education. We have steadily grown our Cumbrian team over the last 4 years and with this role you will now have the opportunity to shape the company further; its direction and growth. Our parent company, North Yorkshire Council, provides a highly stable foundation from which to build your career - regardless of the ups and downs of the economic climate.

If you are a design professional based in Cumbria or the surrounding areas, passionate about where you live and want to see a positive impact on construction in this beautiful part of the UK this is the ideal position for you. If you work for a design consultancy and are looking for a role where you can truly lead and influence the direction of your work, or, if you work for a firm of architects or surveyors and want to drive the direction of this multi-disciplinary consultancy at a larger scale we can offer an exciting opportunity to join a business with a track record of excellence and with a large volume of high profile projects in the pipeline.

To be successful in this position, you will be able to demonstrate the following essential skills and qualifications:

- You will be an experienced and ambitious construction design professional (ARB/RIBA/CEng/RICS), with not only a design and delivery track record on projects but the experience and confidence continue to grow in the region and in the marketplace
- Excellent general commercial awareness
- Strong team player
- Motivated and able to work autonomously
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Good command and communication of oral and written English
- Good people management and organisational skills

**“If you are interested in working for a dynamic, expanding, forward-thinking company, you could be the next leader at Align”**

As an award-winning building design consultancy, we take pride in the quality of the projects we deliver. We have a very strong work pipeline provided by our local authority experience across a wide range of building projects across many sectors including Infrastructure, Housing, Education, Industrial and Public Buildings.

When you join Align, you will join a team of professionals who feel rewarded for the work they do. Operating in a friendly and professional environment, we provide the training and resources at all levels for you to succeed and thrive in your role. Our people are not just numbers, everyone is crucial to the vital services we deliver and we treat everyone in our teams with respect and complete support.

Our team is made up of varying professions, from Architects to Engineers, Quantity Surveyors to Property Advisors, all based across our offices in the North of England from Cumbria to North Yorkshire.

At Align we live by our 5 core values: Quality, Innovation, Respect, Honesty and Truth, which elevates us to our aim of being the property consultant of choice with our clients, but also why our team will tell you why they are proud to be part of Align Property Partners.

**What we can offer you**

In return for your commitment, we are proud to offer a salary from £45,000 to £60,000 per year (experience dependant), along with enrolment to our pensions scheme, 25 days annual holiday + Bank holidays, good maternity and paternity schemes and flexible working arrangements
