**Salary**: £30,000 - £40,000 pro rata
**Location**: Hybrid and flexible working arrangement, with home working and in our offices and some occasional travel.
**Contract**: Zero-hour contract / Freelance / 6 month Fixed Term Contract with agreed hours.

We have a strong work pipeline provided by our Partner North Yorkshire Council which provides us with unique access to a wide range of building projects across many sectors including Infrastructure, Housing, Education, Industrial and public buildings.
As we embark on the next phase of our growth we are pleased to have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing and Bid Co-ordinator to join our multi discipline workforce. In this new position you will play an important role in supporting the growth of the business by helping to create high quality, winning bid submissions. As well as working on bid submissions you will work to develop new ideas for new business pursuits, providing marketing and branding.
You will join a very busy and professional team and use your marketing, branding and events experience to create engaging and high quality proposals, marketing literature and bid submissions whilst supporting and maintaining our quality management and environmental systems. From collecting relevant tender information, to liaising with the wider team for technical content you will use your keen eye for detail and a careful and accurate approach to pull together and shape construction information into compelling submissions. You will also be able to use your creative side to create branding and marketing material such as brochures to assist with business development, ensuring all external documents are consistent and on brand.
It will be important that you are able to work effectively as part of a team and well as on your own initiative, being able to multitask and prioritise your workload manage multiple tasks to different deadlines. Other duties will include maintaining updates keeping up to date with all project details, attending regular team meetings and ensuring compliance with all company documents and procedures is maintained. This is the ideal role for someone with previous experience of bid co-ordination, especially in the construction/engineering industry and is looking for a flexible, part time role with hybrid working.
To be successful in this position, you will be able to demonstrate the following essential skills:
- Previous experience of bid-coordination, marketing literature and branding, ideally for an engineering or construction business
- Experience of posting social media content for a business
- Knowledge of consultancy, legal and governance with business development experience
- Able to multi-task and work to tight deadlines in sometimes high-pressure situations
- Experience with formatting, reviewing and proofreading of materials for content and grammar
- Excellent computer and IT skills including; Microsoft office suite and design packages such as Adobe with experience of using spreadsheets and databases.
- Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills

**What we can offer you**
We can offer a salary from £30,000 to £40,000 (pro rata) per year, along with enrolment to our pensions scheme, 25 days annual holiday + Bank holidays and other employee discounts in retail and hospitality.
This is a part time zero hours, freelance position or 6 month fixed term contract, with flexible and hybrid working options to allow you to work with us alongside your other freelance commitmen
