This is an excellent entry-level role, or for someone who has up to a year's administration or customer service experience.

The role includes performing basic administration tasks, dealing with incoming post and enquiries and processing renewal and new business documentation to enable account handlers to deal directly with customers. You are expected to act as part of a team and as such, your role may be occasionally altered to help other complete their duties.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Sort and distribute the incoming post.
- Collect and frank the post on a daily basis.
- Accurately process new business and renewal documentation and send to clients in an effective and timely manner.
- Write and dispatch routine letters to clients.
- Contact clients by telephone when necessary to chase outstanding documents, direct debit defaults and payments.
- Carry our pre-renewal checks with clients and gather pre-renewal documents.
- Update client MID records as requested.
- Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, committed and flexible attitude towards other team members, recognising the importance and benefits of effective team working.
- Attend team and staff meetings as and when required.
- Carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by your manager/team leader.
