Based on the outskirts of Blackpool, this fast-growth and dynamic Group of businesses are seeking a Systems Accountant in a newly established role. This role has been designed to add value across the wider Group through effective systems enhancement. A variedand diverse position, this role will support further growth whilst enhancing existing procedures. The organisation are in a strong financial position and have a successful track record spanning many years in the sector they operate.
Your New Role as Systems Accountant:
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, working closely with stakeholders and other departments, as Systems Accountant you will be responsible for supporting the Group Financial Controller and Group Finance Director in the group consolidation and financialreporting whilst also being responsible for enhancing the process and procedural elements of the finance systems. During the month-end period you shall lead on the monthly financial analysis and create an environment where monthly, quarterly and annual deliverablescan be monitored effectively.
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
To be considered you will ideally be CIMA /ACCA/ ACA qualified with strong analytical skills and a proven track record of adding value in a systems enhancement role. Knowledge of SQL and Power BI is required and you will be comfortable working in a fast-pacedenvironment. You will be forward thinking with proven ability to instigate and manage change, making suggestions to enhance processes and procedures. Strong across the use of various financial systems you will ideally have implemented change across this areaand be experienced in developing detailed reporting and analysis. Technically strong with a solid understanding of month end duties you shall be able to add value whilst providing detailed monthly accounting in a rounded and varied role.
