**This role reports to The Client Support Team Manager**

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure great client service is offered at all times.
- Provide leadership for client support team, delivering the front of house service.
- Actively promote any promotional schemes and support reception team by leading by example.
- Supervise the reception team and support them to follow agreed protocols, ensuring high standards of customer service is maintained at all times.
- Be responsible for the day to day operational running of reception team / area.
- Identify opportunities for professional development in the reception team, and with support of Client Support Team Manager implement training and development plans
- Work collaboratively with the Client Support Team Manager to introduce new ideas / develop new protocols.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, learning, development and No Blame within the reception team
- Co-ordinate daily activity of the team and reception job role
- Ensure daily banking is completed to deadlines and provide first line assistance to the team in investigating any anomalies.
- Be the first contact with admin team regarding account / insurance queries in order to reach resolution
- Support team in dealing with client feedback, seeking to resolve issues at supervisor level and knowing when to escalate to Client Support Team Manager.
- Evaluate performance and provide real time feedback to support development of team
- Support monthly recorded one to one meetings with all direct reports.
- Provide effective line management of the reception team, including regular feedback, mentoring, coaching and 121’s
- Any other duties as required by the leadership team

You will be part of the reception rota and therefore be the first point of contact to all our clients and the face of Moy Vets. You will ensure our client and pet journey starts with a five-start service and continues this way from beginning to end

- CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:_

Essential skills (E) Desirable skills (D)

E - Must have at least 2 years experience working within a busy reception, within the last 3 years.

E - Confident in answering the telephone in a busy environment.

E - Be able to multitask under pressure.

E - Be organised and ensure processes are followed within the team

E - Use of Microsoft 365

E - Ability to travel between sites.

E - Working as part of a team, but also happy to work alone when required

E - To be flexible.

E - Experience in using a computer based diary system.

E - Be able to prioritise your work.

E - Exceptionally good communication skills (face to face and over the telephone.)

E - Confident in handling sensitive situations, whilst staying calm and providing the best possible service

E - Cash and card handling experience.

D - Customer service qualifications

D - Veterinary Industry experience
