**Job Description - PA/Administrator**

**Arnold Funeral Service** is a family owned and managed business with branches in High Wycombe, Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield, Marlow and Slough. We help families through the difficult time of making funeral arrangements.

We are looking to hire a PA/Administrative Assistant to support the Directors based in the Head Office at Flackwell Heath.

The role will involve secretarial and office administration, including;
- answering phone calls
- managing diaries
- liaising with colleagues and clients
- typing correspondence

The successful applicant must be caring and empathetic both in person and on the phone liaising with clients at a difficult time. Ability to use judgement and manage calls for Directors, screening as appropriate.

Excellent organisation skills are required to be able to manage and monitor work to ensure that matters are not left outstanding.

The role includes being part of a team committed to making a difference to the clients we help. This includes working to strict deadlines and having strong attention to detail.

**Previous Secretarial and Administrative experience preferred and a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.**

The successful applicant must be presentable and punctual.

This is a full-time role of 40 hours a week working 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes break based at our Flackwell Heath Office.

**Competitive Salary** based on experience and qualifications

**20 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays**

**Pension Scheme**

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
