Regional Sales Manager

**Opportunity for a regional sales manager (home-based) to join one of the UK leading suppliers of medical equipment.**
The business has been established for over 35 years, distributing products from leading manufacturers globally. Securing their position within the niche areas of specialisation by sourcing additional new products in line with their mission statement andcustomer requirements.
As the regional sales manager you will be responsible for maintaining existing business and increasing sales and market share. Detailed responsibilities are: -- Developing designated sales area selling medical equipment and products
- Maintaining and developing customer relations and database
- Generating and qualifying new and existing leads
- Conducting presentations, trials and product training on equipment portfolio
- Ensuring customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
- Liaising with clinicians, surgeons, nursing staff and procurement
- Supporting the development of efficient work procedures
- Participating in exhibition events
- Previous sales experience in the medical sector highly desirable or engineer looking to move into a sales role
- Ability to show technical competence
- Sales training qualifications desirable
- Full driving licence
**In return, the regional sales manager will receive a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum + commission, quarterly incentive scheme, company car, company pension, private healthcare, lunch allowance and 20 days holidays (excludingbank holidays).
