Part-time Bookkeeper/admin

**About us**
**We are a small company based in Hoo providing plant glazing services in the South East. We are looking for a bookkeeper/ admin employee to work on a part-time basis 2-3 days per week.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable, including processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and issuing payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or trends
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
**Skills**:
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies or trends in financial data
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other departments
