Logistics Administrator

We are excited to be able to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our team.
StructureCare are CPG’s Specialist in-house Contractor who are focussed on the Repair, Maintenance and Protection of Buildings and Structures throughout the UK and are seeking to appoint a Logistics Administrator to our ever-expanding team.
**Duties and Responsibilities -**
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
- Ensure premises, vehicles, plant are used effectively
- Managing stock levels using IT systems and digital devices
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
- Managing logistics operations while controlling warehouse operations to ensure deadlines are met
- Ensuring that shipping methods complying with rules, regulations and laws
- Monitoring quality control and keeping warehouse capacity at optimal levels
- Hiring of Plant
- Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
- Arrange transportation and orchestrate deliveries to meet sites demands
- Receives products and coordinates delivery
- Prepares paperwork for shipment
- Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of materials/consumables / plant to keep costs down where possible
- Streamlines shipping and transportation processes
- Perform other related duties as required.
**Personal Characteristics - **to succeed will include:
- Experience in a fast-paced demanding warehouse environment as a Logistics Administrator.
- Understanding of quality management principles
- Outstanding organisational and coordination abilities
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- IT Literate, comfortable with Microsoft packages
- Experience in FORS preferred but not essential
