greenwellgleeson are exclusively recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a growing family owned business in Burton-Upon-Trent. the company has been trading for over 35 years and is experiencing a period of significant growth, which is expected to continue.

The main role of the Financial Controller is to oversee and own the Groups central finance functions to include but not limited to reporting, FP&A, treasury and tax as well as managing all aspects of the groups financial affairs. You will also be requiredto manage the current team of 4, whivh is expected to increase with further organic growth in the business and future acquisitions.

Key Skills Required:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Proven experience of managing the day-to-day accounting processes of a large corporate Group /multi-entity business
- Tax, treasury and financial and management reporting experience is essential
- Experience of managing a central finance functions team
- Group consolidation experience
- Experience in M&A and Integration advantageous
- Able to express an understanding and awareness of commercial matters
- Ability to communicate complex accounting matters in a clear and concise manner
- Experience of using financial systems and the ability to run reports (Sage 200 preferred)
- Ability to interpret and analyse financial data
- Proficient stakeholder management skills at all levels
- Strong work ethic, organised and methodical
- Personable, approachable and accommodating
