Financial Controller duties:
- Support the finance team with all accounting functions within the business by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks
- Assisting in preparing budgets, maintaining reports, completing bookkeeping and accounting duties for all group companies.
- Preparing month-end files in readiness for the month-end process
- Support in the production of the management accounts for all group companies posting month end journals including fixed assets, depreciation, GRNI, accruals and prepayments
- Produce management information on daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports as required.
- Prepare financial accounts and reporting including balance sheet and control account reconciliation
- Calculate the monthly depreciation charge following the monthly asset capitalisation
- Ensure monthly capital KPI information is provided to the business VAT
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions and initiatives
