The Lyme Trust is a charitable organisation which was set up in 1974. The Trust provides supported accommodation for people living with mental health problems. We also support people with substance misuse and addiction difficulties alongside any mental health issues. Our aim is provide a safe, stable and comfortable environment in which people can live. Residents have access to high levels of support and a good quality of life. The Trust is part of the voluntary sector and has access to a wide network of specialist support. Volunteers play a large part in the organisation and with their variety of experiences bring a rich cultural element to The Trust. The management team meets on a regular basis with the board of Trustees to report on progress and exchange views.

**Job Purpose**

This is an excellent opportunity to support the Finance Manager and wider team, always aiming to provide a consistently efficient and thorough service.

Attention to detail and accuracy in this role is essential. You must be able to manage a busy workload and prioritise your time well. An enthusiastic team player with communication skills is vital to the success of this role and you must also be highly numerate with strong attention to detail.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Sales ledger
- Purchase ledger
- Petty cash
- Bank reconciliation
- Raising supplier payments
- Reconciling the sales ledger and recording rent payments
- Assisting credit control, chasing outstanding debt, and recording
- Managing of the sales data within our finance system and updating our internal system
- Assist the finance manager with other ad hoc duties

**Required Skills**:

- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Excellent knowledge of Sage 50
- At least 2 years experience in a finance role
- Time management skills and ability to priories workloads
- Honesty
- Reliability
