The role in Borehamwood is property management.
Move in Clerk
- Managing new move ins from the offer agreed point to the actual move in.
- Processing references and qualifying applicants
- Managing move in monies
- Creating contracts and all move in paperwork
- Issuing paperwork for signing
- Property visits where necessary
- Managing all necessary move in works, from EPC’s to inventories to repainting works.
- Liaising with the property management department and Negotiators where necessary.
- Making sure properties are legally compliant before moving in
- Utility management, notifying suppliers of new tenants details on move in and move out.
- Acting as first point of contact for tenants for tenants due to move into a new property.
Move Outs
- Managing the move out process after notice has been given, ensuring the correct notice has been given.
- Arranging inventory check outs, if applicable
- Ensure all keys given to tenants, have been returned at the end of the tenancy
- Issue key return receipts
- Send out inventories to the relevant parties for review within a timely manner
- Calculate charges according to the checkout report.
- Inform tenants of any charges that Landlords would like to deduct from their deposit and negotiate between both parties to a successful outcome.
- Inform utility companies that tenants have vacated
