**The Vacancy**

The Performance and Risk Team is responsible for providing a performance and risk function across the whole of the Torus Group. This role will assist in the development of a strong and effective approach to the performance and risk. The team is also responsible for Business Continuity and managing the Internal Audit programme.

**This is an important role in which you will**:

- Support the Performance and Risk Manager in developing and strengthening the performance and risk management function within the Group.
- Assist the Performance and Risk Manager to develop and maintain a robust Controls Assurance Framework for the Group, managing risk within the performance management framework established for the Group. Support operational teams to manage and understand performance results and identify areas of improvement.
- Support the business to develop robust business continuity plans based on agreed requirements and ensure these are monitored and updated regularly.
- Analyse performance results closely to fully understand trends and identify areas of improvement and communicating these results with the relevant business areas by adopting a business partnering approach.

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Have a sound knowledge of performance and/or risk management.
- Ability to prepare and present complex data and information effectively to customers, colleagues, stakeholders and senior management.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify trends and issues within large and complex data sets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify innovative and forward-thinking action plans to improve performance or service delivery.
- Excellent ICT skills with a strong technical knowledge of Excel and MS Office.
