This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within the Faculty of Science and Engineering¿s Compliance and Operations Team. Reporting to the Safety, Risk and Compliance Manager (SRCM) and ultimately responsible to the Faculty Head of Compliance and Operations, your principal role will be to assist in providing monitoring, oversight and coordination of key activities relating to Health, Safety and Regulatory Compliance.

This essential role supports an integral function of the Faculty Professional Services Team and provides a key link between the Faculty, Schools and Facilities, Residences and Commercial Services (FRCS).

Your varied workload will involve liaising with the Safety Advisors Office, Strategic Planning Team, Sustainability and Environmental Management and other central University Professional Services teams as required.

The role will also require you to maintain and monitor Faculty Health and Safety performance information. This role offers an opportunity to extend and develop your administrative and communication skills whilst working on planned project work and additional unplanned tasks as they arise.

You should have a degree or equivalent qualification, or relevant professional experience. Specific health and safety experience is not required and relevant training will be provided.

This post is available on a fixed term basis for two years.
