Customer Service Advisor / Heat Pump Consultant

FULL ‘PAID TO TRAIN’ PROVIDED - NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Ideally you will have experience within the Heat Pump Industry, either as a Heat Pump Engineer looking to move into an office based role or a Heat Pump / HVAC / Renewable Energy / Energy Efficiency / Sustainable Heating / Building Services or Green Technology Consultant looking for a new challenge. However, the company will consider applicants with no previous experience providing you have excellent customer service skills with a polite, professional and friendly telephone manner and willing to learn about Heat Pumps and all the benefits it can offer.

This position will involve learning about the technical elements of Heat Pumps. Even though you don’t need industry experience you will need the ability to learn about the technical aspects of the role.

**SALARY**: £25,000 to £38,000 per annum (pro rata for Part-Time roles) + Benefits

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an individual who wants to start a career as a Customer Service Advisor / Heat Pump Consultant with a well-established company based in Perth, Scotland.

If you don’t have specific heat pump experience, you will have strong customer service and telephone skills, an appreciation and interest in renewable technologies or similar across energy efficiency measures. You will be organised and motivated to work both on your own, and as part of a team. You will be familiar with MSOffice Outlook and Excel and have generally good IT skills.

After your product training, as the Customer Service Advisor / Heat Pump Consultant you will take incoming telephone enquiries and advise customers about whether a heat pump is suitable for them and their home, answering questions about energy efficiency in general and complete heat loss assessments.

As a Customer Service Advisor / Heat Pump Consultant you will work from the Perth office you will join a well-established company that design, supply, install, service and maintain ground, air and water source heat pump systems and the distribution systems (underfloor heating and radiators) they work with. There is an opportunity for flexible working once the company’s processes have been understood although this is a ‘mainly’ office-based role.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As a Customer Service Advisor / Heat Pump Consultant you will have the following skills, qualifications and attributes:
Previous industry knowledge or excellent customer service skills with a great telephone manner

Qualifications at Highers, Degree or SVQ level; the company hire based on attitude and on the job experience

Interested in learning about the technical elements of Heat Pumps

On the job training is provided, as well as a training route to qualifications and certifications including, but not limited to:
