Job Spec for Revenue Manager at a Luxury Independent 5* Hotel in Canary Wharf:
POSITION: Revenue Manager

REPORTS TO: Director of Sales & Marketing

SUMMARY: The Revenue Manager is responsible for analyzing business data and turning it into effective revenue management strategies. The primary focus will be on room revenue, with an increasing focus on total revenue management over time. This is a newrole in the hotel, so the scope and number of direct reports may evolve over time.

Our client is a luxury independent 5* hotel in Canary Wharf, offering a unique opportunity for a Revenue Manager to join their team. With state-of-the-art facilities and a commitment to providing exceptional service, this is an exciting opportunity to bepart of a high-performing team.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

- Completed a university degree in accounting, Business Administration, or Hotel Management.

EDUCATION:

- University degree in a relevant field.

EXPERIENCE:

- At least 3 years of experience in hotel revenue management or a similar role involving business analytics and strategy development.

TRAVEL:

- Occasional travel may be required (0-5% of the time).

MANDATORY SKILLS:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and effectively.
- Strong ability to condense complex data into meaningful strategies.
- Ability to present a contrarian viewpoint and gain consensus through the use of business analytics.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting various deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work and communicate effectively with senior management, both in the home office and at the hotel.
