We have a new opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join our team in a full-time role based at our Head Office in Camberley.

**Your mission**

Working closely in a small team with a significant high volume of transactions, you will need to be focussed on delivery.

You will engage closely with all stakeholders most notably Procurement and Commercial in order to pay material suppliers promptly and accurately.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Validate invoice header data to check for correct PO number, VAT, Company Name and all other data agree to the invoice image. Identify duplicates, organise corrections and coordinate the provision of credit notes.
- Validate the system generated PO lines matched to the invoice and transfer to SAP ready for payment.
- Proactively and efficiently dealing with high volume supplier queries.
- Team mailbox management and the forwarding of PDF invoices to the OCR system.
- Set up vendors and administer changes.
- Assist with ad hoc department projects as required.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.

**Who are we looking for?**

**You will possess the following attributes**:

- Knowledge of SAP processing system, BasWare Alusta Invoice processing system.
- Experience of working in a high volume, fast paced environment.
- Ability to pay attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and accurate checking of all payments.
- Good Excel skills.
- Ideally studying for an accounting qualification.
- Pro-active approach to problems - the ability to spot potential errors and resolve.
- Inquisitive and possess a can-do attitude.
- Ability to build good working relationships with both external suppliers and internal customers.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and ensure deadlines are met.
- Ability to make decisions about referring potential problems to the Manager.
- Strong administrative skills, with the emphasis on accuracy rather than speed.
- Enthusiastic team player who takes pride in their work.
- Ideally you will have worked within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of Plant Hire, CIS and VAT is preferable.
