**Deputy Head of Curriculum for Business & Management, Leisure & Tourism, and ESOL - Internal Only**

**Location**:Group role - Wakefield, Castleford and Selby

**Salary**:£44,618 - £47,329 per annum

**Hours: 37 hours**

As a Deputy Head of Curriculum for Business, Management, Leisure & Tourism and ESOL you will assist the Head of Curriculum in managing and developing the curriculum, including the management of staff and resources in the area. You will improve outcomes for students by achieving and maintaining high standards of performance through tracking, monitoring and inspiring staff and students. This role will be coupled with an annual teaching commitment.

As Deputy Head of Curriculum you will:

- Help to shape and implement the educational strategy of the Group.
- Assist the Head of Curriculum in overseeing all aspects of curriculum development, delivery and assessment.
- Provide leadership for the development, and delivery of, engaging and industry relevant materials and resources to support curriculum development, and a high standard of teaching and learning.
- Manage the allocation of resources, staffing and facilities to support curriculum delivery effectively.

We are looking for someone with:

- Relevant degree or professional qualification of an equivalent level
- PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Successful experience of teaching
- Management experience in FE
